Tartufini ricotta e cacao


Coconut is the fruit of the coconut palm, belonging to the Arecaceae family.  It is also called tree of life, since all its parts can be exploited: in addition to the pulp also water, milk, oil, shell and leaves.
Coconut is a source of minerals such as potassium, phosphorus, sodium, calcium, magnesium and iron.

Beneficial properties of coconut :

1. has the ability to regulate blood sugar, lower cholesterol and help the body maintain proper hydration
2. it helps improve digestion, supports the immune system, is useful in defending against viruses and infections and helps regulate the metabolism and maintain correct body weight.
3. supports the development of strong and healthy bones and teeth, increasing our body's ability to assimilate calcium and magnesium.  Coconut is also believed to help prevent osteoporosis

I am a coconut lover and I love to use it in my recipes not only for its beneficial properties explained above but also for its amazing taste.
In summer when I go to the beach I always buy me a piece of coconut from these men who sell it on the beach🙈

Here is one of my recipes with coconut. I love this recipe because it is sooo delicious, really fast but above all is perfect to stay in shape💪🏼

Ingredients for 12 Tartufini🍫:

150g ricotta cheese
25g grated coconut
40 ml Honey/Agave Syrup
Bitter cocoa


Method:

Mix the ricotta cheese, the coconut and the honey.
Shape it in little balls
Pass the balls in the cocoa
Refrigerate them for at least one hour

 150 g di ricotta
 25 g di cocco rapé
 40 ml di sciroppo di miele / agave
 Cacao amaro


 Metodo:

 Mescola la ricotta, il cocco e il miele.
 Modellalo in palline
 Passa le palline nel cacao
 Conservali in frigorifero per almeno un'ora
